Dion Jones and the Neon Tears is a new-style country rock band from the 30A area of Northwest Florida. Influenced by contemporary to classic artists like Chris Stapleton to Hank Williams. Whether arranging originals or reimagining classics, their thirst for musical knowledge, creative drive, and love to perform are producing exciting results.
Soulful rock’n’roll, R&B, funk, jazz and American blues all driven by the syncopated styles of New Orleans. These musicians have been performing for years and are known for turning regular crowds into wild ocean waves of endless fun.
For 10+ years, the four members of MECO have performed in various configurations as the Chris Alvarado Trio. Their extensive musical projects have earned them spots amongst the best musicians in Northwest Florida. Long overdue, in late 2023 they made it official and formed MECO.
Sunday brunches at Stinky's Fish Camp are famous for their New Orleans influenced flavors, loaded Bloody Mary’s and authentic live music by long time South Walton musicians Bob & Lisa Steeno with John Reinlie at 11am.
